9 Light Entertainment, known for scripted content, has launched an unscripted division with its inaugural series, Lights, Camera... Kitchen!. This four-part reality show is set to premiere on Bell Fibe's TV1 on May 28. It offers a behind-the-scenes look at the culinary operations of entrepreneurs Nataliya and Leeza.
The series spotlights their multi-generational catering business, which serves film and TV productions. The cast includes Nataliya's mother Irina, Leeza's mother Sasha, and Nataliya's daughter Kristina. Their work is shown delivering meals to demanding shoots in remote locations and harsh winter conditions.
Lights, Camera... Kitchen! will capture the on-camera and off-camera action, detailing menu creation, family dynamics, and the entrepreneurial spirit. The show also promises to capture culinary mishaps against the backdrop of production deadlines.
Founder Pasha Patriki stated the unscripted division's first project aims to be deeply human, focusing on real personalities and the chaos behind filmmaking. 9 Lights has designed the series for international sales, though a distributor has not yet been attached.
