Rapper Curtis Jackson III, professionally known as 50 Cent, has reached an agreement to settle a civil lawsuit that accused him of assault. The settlement came on November 25, 2025, mere days before the premiere of a documentary series he produced concerning Sean "Diddy" Combs.
The legal action was initiated by Guadalupe de los Santos, who alleged that in September 2025, an occupant of Jackson's SUV forcefully opened the passenger door, striking de los Santos and knocking him from his scooter. The complaint sought damages for various claims including assault, battery, and negligence.
While the lawsuit was initially filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, it was later moved to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Florida. A hearing for a motion to dismiss was scheduled for December 22, 2025, but the parties successfully resolved the dispute prior to this date, avoiding a trial.
