Southern rock icons .38 Special have made a significant comeback, releasing their first new album in 21 years. Titled 'Milestone,' the collection features nine tracks of new music and has achieved a Top 10 debut on the Rock Album chart. This release marks their first album since 'Drivetrain' in 2004.
The 'Milestone' album boasts collaborations with respected musicians, including Randy Bachman of Bachman-Turner Overdrive and Pat Monahan from Train. Jim Peterik, co-founder of Survivor and producer of the album, also contributed, continuing a relationship with the band that began with their hit 'Rockin' Into the Night.'
In conjunction with the album's release, .38 Special has announced the initial dates for their 2026 tour. This tour celebrates both their new music and their extensive 'Fifty Year Legacy.' While specific Massachusetts dates are not yet scheduled, more tour stops are expected to be revealed soon.
