Dave Franco Open to Returning for 24 Jump Street

Dave Franco, known for his role as Eric Molson in the "Jump Street" franchise, has indicated he is willing to reprise his character for the forthcoming "24 Jump Street." Franco, who appeared as a student drug dealer and later a "drug expert" in the previous films, stated his openness to returning when asked about upcoming projects.

"24 Jump Street" is confirmed to be in development, with a script penned by Rodney Rothman, Jonah Hill, and Meghan Malloy. The franchise producer, Neal H. Moritz, officially revealed the title and a humorous logline earlier this year. This iteration bypasses the previously considered "23 Jump Street," a project that had been in development since 2014 and was once rumored to be a "Men in Black" crossover.

Filmmakers reportedly decided to skip "23 Jump Street" out of respect for the franchise's progression. While Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, and Ice Cube are reportedly in talks to star, the supporting cast, including Dave Franco, is still being finalized. Franco's current film, "Idiots," is now in theaters.
