The 2026 New York Women in Film & Television Muse Awards ceremony is scheduled for March 20 at Cipriani 42 St. in New York City. This event aims to celebrate women excelling in film, television, music, and media.
Among the distinguished honorees are acclaimed actress and singer Audra McDonald, who will receive recognition for her diverse career achievements. Longtime political commentator and television host Joy Reid will be honored with the Enid Roth Award for Excellence in Journalism.
Additional honorees include producer Jane Raab, actress Jamie Brewer, and director Patricia Cardoso. Brewer will receive the Loreen Arbus Changemaker Award, while Cardoso is set to receive the Nancy Malone Directing Award. Izzy Harrison, a WNBA player for the New York Liberty, will be recognized with the inaugural NYWIFT Muse Award for Achievement in Sports & Media.
Comedian and actress Nancy Giles will serve as the emcee for the event. The ceremony will be broadcast on NYC Life through a partnership with the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. Founded in 1977, NYWIFT's mission is to connect, educate, and advocate for women in media, with the Muse Awards serving as its primary fundraising initiative.
