The journey toward the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards is officially underway. Finalists for this year's prestigious honors will be revealed on Wednesday, Sept. 9, during a live broadcast. The awards ceremony itself is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 22, at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, with a live broadcast on Telemundo and Peacock.
This year's event coincides with the 37th annual Billboard Latin Music Week, taking place from Oct. 19-22 in Miami Beach. Recognized as a pivotal gathering for the Latin music industry, the week will feature exclusive artist discussions, business panels, and showcases.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards celebrate top artists, albums, and songs based on comprehensive data including sales, streaming, and radio airplay. Last year's ceremony saw Bad Bunny emerge as the leading artist, securing 11 trophies.
