These artists span multiple decades and genres, representing the rich tapestry of Australian music. Gurrumul, a critically acclaimed Indigenous singer-songwriter, achieved international recognition for his soulful music. Jenny Morris is celebrated for her successful solo career and advocacy, while Kate Ceberano holds a unique distinction for top 10 albums across five decades.
Rock bands Spiderbait and The Living End are recognized for their significant impact on the Australian music scene with chart-topping hits and enduring popularity. Sisters Vika and Linda Bull, after successful careers with The Black Sorrows, have also made a lasting mark as a duo.
ARIA CEO Annabelle Herd highlighted that the inductees "represent the depth, diversity and enduring influence of Australian music across generations." The 2026 ARIA Awards ceremony will be held on November 18.
