The restoration project was a monumental undertaking, requiring more than two years and over 300 hours solely for remastering the iconic soundtracks. In total, the entire restoration process was completed by more than 150 individuals working over 9000 human hours.
Despite the advanced restoration, the film's theatrical run is restricted to select cinemas across India. This decision stems from the fact that most Indian cinema halls currently only support 4K projection technology. The makers stated their refusal to compromise on quality, leading to an exclusive screening in handpicked theaters capable of presenting the restoration as intended.
