Garner Returns for '13 Going on 30' Reboot

A reboot of the 2004 fantasy rom-com '13 Going on 30' is currently in development, with Jennifer Garner attached as an executive producer. The project marks a reunion for director Brett Haley and actress Emily Bader, who previously collaborated on the successful Netflix film 'People We Meet on Vacation'. Bader will star alongside Logan Lerman, who is described as a magical pairing with her.

Haley is directing from a script by Hannah Marks, with revisions by Flora Greeson. The original film, starring Garner as the adult version of Jenna Rink, was a commercial and cultural success, grossing approximately $96 million worldwide and remaining a touchstone for audiences over the decades. Garner's involvement as executive producer is considered particularly meaningful given her iconic role in the original.
