The air quality in several western UP cities, including Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, Noida, Baghpat, and Khurja, has remained 'poor', with the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data showing high Air Quality Index (AQI) levels. Experts warn that this 'poor' AQI can lead to "breathing discomfort to most people on prolonged exposure".
The temperatures are also expected to dip further in the coming weeks. On November 7, the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to settle at 29°C and 17°C, respectively. However, the temperatures are likely to drop to 16-14°C in the week of November 14-20 and further down to 12-10°C in the following week.
