Both eastern and western parts of the state could see isolated thunderstorms and lightning on January 23 and 24. Gusty winds, reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph, are also expected during this period.
These atmospheric changes may cause a temperature fluctuation, with both maximum and minimum temperatures potentially dropping by 2-3°C. In the Kanpur division, night temperatures might fluctuate by 1-3°C, offering some respite from the severe cold during the night. Kanpur recently recorded a minimum temperature of 8°C and a maximum of 24.6°C.
