Thunderstorms Threaten England and Wales This Weekend

The south coast may also encounter stronger winds throughout Saturday, adding to the unsettled weather.

Met Office maps highlight that 66 counties, predominantly in England and Wales, are at risk of significant rainfall. The BBC Weather forecast corroborates this, predicting showery rain across England and Wales, with some rain extending to Northern Ireland and southern Scotland. Northern Scotland is expected to remain mostly dry.
