Parts of central Scotland may experience localised flooding and travel disruption due to slow-moving, heavy showers expected throughout the afternoon. Some areas could see up to 20 mm of rainfall per hour, with isolated locations potentially receiving 30-40 mm in two to three hours. These intense showers may be accompanied by thunder, but are anticipated to gradually subside by the evening.
