Central Texas is currently experiencing scattered showers and thunderstorms, with a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect through the late evening. Some areas, including parts of Travis County and the Hill Country, have already received over an inch of rainfall. Tonight, expect cool temperatures in the 50s with continued cloud cover and isolated storms.
Daylight Saving Time commences tonight as clocks "spring-forward" one hour from 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. Tomorrow will bring seasonably cool highs in the 60s and 70s under overcast skies, with only a slight chance of non-severe showers.
A weather system developing near the Baja Peninsula is forecast to move northeast towards Texas by Monday into Tuesday. This system is predicted to bring additional rain chances and the potential for severe weather to Central Texas on Tuesday and Wednesday.
