Notably, no rain alert has been issued for the two days after that.
However, on Friday, August 22, 2025, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are very likely in several districts, including Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Hanumakonda. Hyderabad and its surrounding areas are also expected to receive light rain or thundershowers along with gusty winds towards the evening or night.
Despite the brief thunderstorm activity, the state has seen minimal rainfall in the past 24 hours, with the highest recorded at just 7 mm in Kataram of Jayashankar Bhupalapally district.
