Major transport routes are impacted, including the M48 Severn Bridge, which was fully closed, and the Humber Bridge, shut to high-sided vehicles due to high winds. Great Western Railways has canceled services because of severe flooding blocking railway lines. Motorists traveling between England and Wales are being rerouted over the M4 Prince of Wales Bridge. Forecasters anticipate further downpours across the south west of England.
