This incoming weather system is expected to bring much-needed relief from the prevailing dry conditions. Weather scientist Dr. Kulwinder Kaur Gill from Punjab Agricultural University noted that daytime temperatures have recently ranged between 21-22 degrees Celsius, with nighttime temperatures between 5-7 degrees Celsius. The anticipated rainfall, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning, is predicted to be beneficial for standing crops, offering a positive outlook for the agricultural sector.
