Lucknow recorded its lowest minimum temperature of the season at 5.6°C on Tuesday, as colder air swept into the region. While daytime conditions remained pleasant due to sunshine, the early morning and night hours have become noticeably chilly. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast for a further decrease in temperatures and the appearance of dense fog in the city beginning Wednesday.
Maximum temperatures on Tuesday hovered around 21.7°C, slightly above normal, while the minimum registered 5.6°C, below the seasonal average. Humidity levels fluctuated throughout the day. Although no official cold wave alert has been issued for Lucknow, mornings are expected to be colder over the next couple of days due to prevailing north-westerly winds.
