The National Weather Service in Melbourne has declared a moderate to major heat risk for each day this week, urging caution.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are anticipated through Thursday, fueled by deep moisture and a nearby frontal boundary. These storms may bring locally heavy downpours of one to two inches, potentially causing minor flooding, especially inland, along with frequent lightning and gusts of 35-45 mph.
