An amber weather warning for coastal overtopping has been issued, expected to last from 10:00 to 14:00. This alert highlights potential impacts on areas like Douglas Promenade, Ramsey, and Laxey promenades, as well as parts of Castletown Promenade and Shore Road. Authorities have advised drivers to avoid the Bottleneck Car Park on Loch Promenade due to the adverse weather conditions. The Eastern Civic Amenity Site will also remain closed for the morning. Furthermore, the island faces a warning for ice on roads, with slippery conditions anticipated until 16:00.
