Two essential ferry crossings connecting the Isle of Man with Lancashire have been cancelled as adverse weather conditions develop in the Irish Sea. The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company confirmed that both the afternoon and evening crossings to Heysham were called off. While the Manxman initially set sail as planned, its return journey to Douglas has been rescheduled.
