Minimum temperatures across Himachal Pradesh's high hill areas are forecast to decrease by 2 to 4°C over the next two to three days. Light rain or snowfall is anticipated in isolated high-altitude regions, including Chamba and Kullu, within the next 36 hours, with dry weather expected thereafter.
Concurrently, dense fog has been reported in Bilaspur and shallow fog in Mandi district over the past 24 hours. The weather department noted that minimum temperatures at most stations remained largely unchanged or were slightly above normal, ranging from -6°C to 11°C.
Maximum temperatures are predicted to fall by 2-4°C in the next few days before rising slightly. Across the state, maximum temperatures have generally been 2 to 5°C above normal, with readings between 9°C and 25°C.
