Meanwhile, a second disturbance, the remnants of Tropical Storm Dolly, is being monitored east of the Caribbean. This system is producing storms over Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands but has a low chance of development in the near term. Forecasters suggest conditions could become more favorable midweek, but its eventual path remains uncertain.
