In Wyoming, the town of Dubois could see temperatures as low as 25 degrees, with isolated readings as low as 22 in the Upper Wind River Basin.
The cold snap is also expected to grip parts of Oregon, Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Colorado, with subfreezing temperatures ranging from 25 to 36 degrees Fahrenheit. Frost advisories have also been issued for areas in California, Washington, and Minnesota.
The NWS has been closely monitoring the situation and issuing regular updates through its local forecast offices. With the freeze warnings in place until Tuesday morning, residents in the affected regions are being urged to take steps to protect their crops, plants, and outdoor plumbing from the impending chill.
