Delhi is expected to remain under an active monsoon spell from July 6 onwards for approximately one week. This wet weather pattern is predicted to intensify from July 7 and continue through at least July 11, with particularly "fairly widespread to widespread" showers anticipated between July 7 and July 9, and again on July 11.
Additionally, strong winds with speeds ranging from 40-50 kmph, gusting up to 60 kmph, are expected over various parts of Delhi. The IMD has also issued warnings for isolated heavy rainfall in Delhi and surrounding regions from July 6 to July 9 and on July 11. Similar intense monsoon activity is forecast for Rajasthan, with very heavy rainfall expected in East Rajasthan from July 6 to July 10, and heavy showers on July 11. West Rajasthan is also likely to receive heavy rainfall on July 7 and 8, accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds.
