Summary

Delhi is bracing for challenging weather conditions as the India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for dense fog expected on Saturday morning, which will likely impair visibility.
Furthermore, a cold wave is anticipated to affect isolated pockets across the national capital and Haryana between January 3 and January 6. This warning comes as the city recorded a maximum temperature of 17.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 9.1 degrees Celsius on Friday.
While Delhi's air quality index (AQI) showed significant improvement, dropping to 236 on Friday from 380 the previous day, it is projected to deteriorate to the 'very poor' category between January 4 and January 5. Consequently, curbs under Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan have been revoked, though Stage I and II actions remain in effect.
