Delhi was struck by significant dust storms on Tuesday evening, leading to weather alerts from the India Meteorological Department (IMD). A broader shift in weather patterns is anticipated across north India. Currently under a heatwave warning, the region is set to experience rainfall from June 10 to June 14, influenced by a fresh Western Disturbance affecting the Western Himalayan region. This system is expected to bring isolated to scattered rainfall to Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Additionally, thunder squalls with wind speeds up to 60 kmph, lightning, and hailstorms are predicted for Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi on June 12.
