Experts warn that the frigid conditions could disrupt roads and public transport, while also posing a threat to the health of older and vulnerable individuals. The British Heart Foundation is advising those at risk to take precautions, such as keeping indoor temperatures above 18°C, wearing warm clothing, and staying active indoors.
