The drone manufacturer, Skyeton, founded by Ukrainians and producing drones for various uses, has pointed to Russia as potentially being behind the incident. However, the Russian embassy in Slovakia has refuted any involvement when questioned.
An obscure group, identifying itself as 'Global Citizens Against War 1984,' has claimed responsibility for the attack. This group also called for the release of two individuals initially detained, whom they referred to as activists.
During questioning, the Latvian man stated he was given the drone plant's coordinates only a day prior to the planned attack. Police arrested him near the Skyeton factory, along with a Ukrainian national believed to be involved in facilitating his escape. Additional arrests in Germany and Slovakia have been reported in connection with the same plot.
