Virtual Hub Tackles Space Domain Knowledge Gap for US Leaders

A new virtual education and analysis hub, the National Spacepower Center, is being created by the Space Force Association. Its primary goal is to improve how U.S. leaders comprehend space as a critical military domain. The center will utilize advanced simulation and immersive technologies to educate policymakers on space warfare, the significance of space systems for national security, and relevant policies.

This initiative is designed to help U.S. and allied decision-makers better understand the complexities of space capabilities in modern conflict, from missile warning to intelligence gathering. Many senior leaders lack sufficient exposure to the threats and operational uses of space systems, a gap the center aims to fill.

Scheduled to roll out programming in 2026, the National Spacepower Center will offer immersive learning modules, strategic wargames, and interactive demonstrations. This effort comes as concerns grow over adversaries developing capabilities to disrupt satellites, underscoring the need for enhanced spacepower understanding.
