Central Israel experienced multiple impact sites on Monday following a missile barrage, with Israel Fire and Rescue Services confirming damage across at least 10 locations nationwide. Seven of these sites were in Rishon Lezion, with additional impacts reported on Highway 431, in Lod, and in Shoham.
Emergency response teams, including firefighting and rescue units, were deployed to Shoham and Rishon Lezion. They meticulously searched buildings and surrounding areas. While initial concerns about trapped individuals were present, these were ultimately ruled out by spokespersons.
During the barrage, a woman in her thirties sustained mild injuries and anxiety. Medics treated her at the scene before she was evacuated to Shamir-Asaf Harofeh Hospital. Responders emphasized the importance of following Home Front Command instructions and seeking shelter during air raid sirens.
Police issued warnings for the public to stay clear of impact sites and avoid touching any fallen shrapnel or missile interception parts. Reports of additional interceptor fragments falling in northern Israel and the Jerusalem area were also received, with medical teams dispatched for checks, though no injuries were reported.
