Air travel to and from the Middle East is facing unprecedented disruption. Data from Cirium Ltd. reveals that more than half of the 51,600 flights scheduled for this region since February 28 have been canceled. This situation underscores the prevailing tense climate in West Asia.
Amidst these challenges, Indian carrier IndiGo has announced its intention to operate flights to five key destinations in West Asia this Saturday. These include Dubai International Airport, Zayed International Airport, and Sharjah International Airport. The airline will also facilitate return flights to major Indian cities like Delhi and Mumbai, ensuring the repatriation of Indian nationals from the affected areas.
