India Evacuates Citizens From Iran Amidst Crisis

A substantial number, 2,060 people, were brought back via Armenia, while another 301 arrived through Azerbaijan.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar highlighted the critical support from the Armenian government, including his counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, in facilitating these evacuations. This effort also saw the return of 312 Indian fishermen from Iran via Armenia. The Indian Embassy in Tehran had issued advisories urging citizens to depart Iran promptly and coordinate with diplomatic staff for safe passage.
