Summary
- Eighty-six homes have been completed through the Gary Sinise Foundation R.I.S.E. program.
- Retired U.S. Army Sgt. Mary Dague received the 86th home.
- NWFA members have contributed over $7 million in products and services.

The Gary Sinise Foundation's R.I.S.E. program reached a significant milestone on March 5 with the dedication of its 86th specially adapted home. The recipient is retired U.S. Army Sgt. Mary Dague, whose new residence in Four Oaks, North Carolina, features a floor donated by Peachey Hardwood, an NWFA member.
Sergeant Dague's service began after witnessing the 9/11 attacks, and she sustained severe injuries in 2007 during an IED response in Iraq, which resulted in the loss of both her arms. She has also faced a battle with breast cancer. The National Wood Flooring Association highlighted their honor in collaborating with Peachey Hardwood to provide real wood flooring for Dague's home, recognizing her resilience and fighting spirit.
This dedication represents the operational success of NWFA's involvement, with over 163 member companies contributing products, logistics, and installation services. The cumulative value of these contributions now exceeds $7 million. Beyond the 86 completed homes, NWFA is concurrently involved in the planning and construction of 13 more homes, underscoring the program's ongoing national network and steady progress in supporting wounded veterans.
