New Spyware Steals All From Your Phone

A sophisticated spyware, known as ZeroDayRAT, has emerged, capable of a complete compromise of both iPhone and Android devices. Security researchers describe it as a comprehensive toolkit that allows attackers to access a victim's messages, location, and even live camera feeds. This threat is particularly concerning as it targets financial applications, including Apple Pay and PayPal, with capabilities to redirect cryptocurrency transfers and drain accounts.

Compounding the danger, ZeroDayRAT is reportedly sold openly on Telegram, significantly lowering the technical expertise required for its use. This accessibility, combined with its extensive surveillance and data-stealing features, presents a chilling prospect for user privacy and financial security. The spyware includes keylogging and live surveillance tools, enabling attackers to potentially view screen activity during sensitive operations like online banking.

To mitigate the risk, users are advised to avoid installing apps from outside official stores, as this bypasses crucial security screenings.
