The Z Flip 8 and Motorola Razr Ultra are vying for dominance in the foldable phone market. The Z Flip 8, priced at $1,199.99, offers a slimmer profile and a nearly seamless display crease, alongside Samsung's signature One UI 9 with advanced AI capabilities and a seven-year software update promise.
The Razr Ultra, launching at $1,499.99, boasts a more tactile design with Alcantara or wood finishes and features a brighter display with a higher refresh rate for gaming. It offers double the base storage of the Z Flip 8 and faster charging speeds, though its software support commitment is shorter at three years for OS upgrades.
Both foldables come with an IP48 rating, providing resistance to water and dust ingress.
