Xreal's Aura smartglasses, the first to operate on the Android XR platform, are now available for purchase. These glasses leverage the Google and Samsung co-developed XR operating system and are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite chip.

The Aura is presented as a versatile spatial computing device suitable for work, entertainment, and AI-assisted tasks. It integrates Gemini AI and offers access to 150 dedicated XR experiences alongside standard Google Play applications.
Available in two configurations, the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at $1,099 until December, down from its usual $1,279. The 16GB + 512GB variant is available for $1,299, a reduction from $1,499, for the remainder of 2026. Shipping is slated to begin in mid-November.
