Wozniak Praises iPhone Air, Disses AI's Lack of Heart

Steve Wozniak revealed his affection for the iPhone Air at Dreame Next, citing its unique aesthetic that evokes human passion as its primary appeal. He emphasized that human beings are more important than technology, suggesting that engineers should lead companies to prioritize this human element.

Wozniak voiced concerns about artificial intelligence, describing his relationship with it as complicated due to its potential for making mistakes and lacking human flair. He stated that while AI can be valuable, it 'doesn't have a heart.'

Furthermore, Wozniak expressed skepticism about the realization of artificial general intelligence (AGI), drawing on his past studies of the human brain. He also dismissed the idea that smartphones will completely replace PCs, comparing their development to cars that reach a plateau.

He advised continuous improvement in technology, stating, 'You've got to believe you can improve the technology of the day.' Wozniak believes that both phones and PCs have reached their respective plateaus and will continue to evolve without cannibalizing each other.
