The Axor MX Carbon has been introduced in India, claiming the title of the world's lightest triple-certified off-road helmet. Developed and manufactured in Belagavi, Karnataka, the helmet utilizes a carbon-fibre shell to achieve its remarkably low weight of around 1,050 grams for a large size.
Despite its light construction, the MX Carbon adheres to stringent safety benchmarks, holding ECE 22.06, DOT, and ISI certifications. This makes it compliant for both domestic Indian use and international markets, catering to the needs of adventure and motocross enthusiasts.
To facilitate the production of this advanced helmet, Vega Auto invested approximately Rs 2 crore in its composite manufacturing facilities. This expansion has tripled the division's operational capacity since 2020, underscoring a commitment to innovative, high-performance riding gear.
The design features an open-face structure, allowing riders to use goggles for optimal visibility in varied conditions. It also includes a robust ventilation system and a double D-ring fastener for secure fitting. The helmet is priced at Rs 20,060.
