Wikipedia has launched its own year-in-review feature, offering users of its mobile app a personalized look back at their 2025 reading habits. Users can discover statistics such as total reading time and the topics they explored most frequently within the app. This initiative mirrors the popular 'Wrapped' features from other platforms like Spotify.

Beyond individual insights, Wikipedia shared significant platform-wide data, revealing that users collectively spent 4.6 billion hours reading articles in 2025. English-language content accounted for 2.4 billion of these hours. Dedicated volunteer editors contributed immensely, making an impressive 66 million edits across the platform during the year.

The platform also highlighted the most-read articles of 2025. The page for Charlie Kirk emerged as the most popular, garnering 44.9 million views. The 'Deaths in 2025' list followed with 42 million page views, and the article on serial killer Ed Gein secured the third spot with 31 million visits, likely boosted by a recent Netflix series.
