Belkin is phasing out cloud services for the majority of its Wemo smart home devices, a change effective January 30th, 2026. This significant discontinuation will result in the loss of remote access capabilities and integrations with systems like Google Home and Amazon Alexa for many users.

The company first announced this impending service termination in July. The shutdown encompasses a wide range of Wemo products, from smart plugs to specialized appliances.
