ViewX has introduced a groundbreaking 27-inch display that delivers spatial 3D visuals without the need for special glasses. This new monitor, part of a range also featuring a 15.6-inch model, integrates conventional and spatial viewing capabilities.
The Liber displays incorporate an AI system-on-chip that handles 3D processing, including the conversion of 2D content to 3D, directly within the hardware. Eye-tracking technology operates at 180fps, adapting the display to the viewer's position for an optimal 3D experience.
Compatibility extends across various operating systems and devices, including computers, consoles, and smartphones. ViewX's software suite supports over 100 games, enabling real-time conversion for titles such as God of War and Cyberpunk 2077. Developed in partnership with Tencent for AI-based 3D processing, the displays are slated for release in October 2026 (15.6-inch) and Q1 2027 (27-inch).
The 27-inch model is priced under $1,200 on Kickstarter, significantly less than comparable established displays. While crowdfunding carries risks, this innovation targets gaming, entertainment, and professional applications.
