The Kuznetsov Naval Academy has developed an unmanned boat designed for crucial maritime rescue operations. This innovative vessel is capable of delivering essential life-saving equipment, such as the PSN-20 inflatable raft, directly to accident sites.
Its design includes a manipulator with a grab for towing small floating objects. The unmanned boat can also retrieve personnel from the water surface. Developers highlight its rapid deployment readiness, with two individuals able to prepare and launch it within five minutes.
Constructed from reinforced, fire-resistant fiberglass, the boat is built for durability. It features a self-righting upper section and unsinkability ensured by polyurethane-filled buoyancy compartments. A protective fender safeguards it during approach operations in challenging conditions.
