25 May
Summary
- Ultrahuman Ring Pro now available in the US after patent dispute resolution.
- Ring Pro offers 15-day battery life and no subscription, unlike Oura.
- Ultrahuman's Ring Pro is priced at $479, with Oura Ring 4 starting at $349.

Ultrahuman's smart ring is now available for sale in the U.S. following a March ruling by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The company had been unable to sell its previous model, the Ring Air, in the United States since late 2025 due to a patent dispute with Oura, which concluded in Oura's favor. Ultrahuman has since developed the Ring Pro to compete.
The Ultrahuman Ring Pro presents compelling features that differentiate it from Oura's offerings. Notably, it operates without a subscription fee and boasts an impressive 15-day battery life, extendable to 45 days with its charging case. This contrasts sharply with the Oura Ring 4's estimated 5 to 8 days of battery life. The Ring Pro also features enhanced on-device data storage for 250 days and a dual-core processor for machine learning.
The Ring Pro's premium features come with a premium price tag, retailing at $479 with its charging case. This is higher than the Oura Ring 4, which starts at $349 and can reach $499 depending on the finish. Oura Ring 4 users must also pay a $5.99 monthly subscription. It remains to be seen if Ultrahuman's latest design will avoid future legal challenges from Oura.
