Uber has introduced Uber Drift in Tokyo, a unique offering for tourists seeking an immersive experience in Japan's car culture. This new service allows passengers to feel the thrill of drifting from a controlled environment.
The Uber Drift experience is a half-day itinerary beginning with a pickup in Tokyo via Uber Black. Guests will be transported to Mobara Twin Circuit, where they will spend approximately 90 minutes engaging in ride sessions. Professional Formula Drift-licensed drivers will provide tandem drifts in specially prepared Nissan Silvia S15 and 180SX models.
Reservations for Uber Drift open on May 27, 2026, and the service will be available for about one month, from June 3 to July 1, 2026. The cost is 30,000 JPY per group, accommodating one to four participants. Daily capacity is limited to four groups, and safety requirements, including specific attire and provided helmets, must be followed.
