The TVS iQube electric scooter has officially surpassed the eight lakh unit sales milestone in the Indian market in December 2025. This accomplishment underscores its leading position as India's largest-selling electric scooter.
Launched in January 2020, the iQube initially took over three years to achieve its first lakh unit sales. However, its sales volume experienced rapid acceleration, particularly after FY2024. The journey from three lakh to eight lakh units was completed swiftly, with the final one lakh units sold in just three months, culminating in this significant six-year sales record.
Several factors have contributed to the iQube's remarkable growth amidst fierce competition. Its design mirrors conventional petrol scooters, offering a comfortable ride, ample storage, and a plush suspension system. This practicality, combined with a range of battery options and competitive pricing between approximately ₹94,000 and ₹1.58 lakh (ex-showroom), has made it accessible to a broad customer base.
The iQube is also equipped with advanced features accessible via a dedicated app and TFT display, including turn-by-turn navigation and reverse mode. Furthermore, TVS Motor Company's extensive manufacturing experience, robust dealership, and service network have bolstered consumer trust and addressed after-sales concerns, making the iQube a practical and reliable choice.
Additionally, the lower operational costs compared to internal combustion engine scooters present a strong value proposition for consumers in the long run, with minimal daily charging expenses.
