This initiative aims to serve both beginners and proficient speakers by offering essential language tools on a single platform. Launched approximately two weeks ago, the application is progressively attracting interest from language enthusiasts and younger demographics.
The Tulu Cultural and Research Foundation provided crucial support by contributing vocabulary for the app. TuluVerse's design incorporates multilingual capabilities, accommodating languages such as Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Konkani, Marathi, Hindi, English, and Sanskrit. Sachin emphasized his dedication to the language despite his educational background, utilizing online resources and AI tools for development over five months.
Despite initial challenges, including rejections during the testing phase, TuluVerse is now available and experiencing a gradual increase in its user base. Future aspirations for TuluVerse include documenting traditional Tulunadu stories through multimedia formats. The application currently also features a Tulu calendar, enriching its utility for users.
