Trump Phone Unmasked: HTC U24 Pro Clone Revealed
11 Jun
Summary
- Trump T1 Phone is virtually identical to HTC U24 Pro.
- Minor hardware tweaks noted, including battery and flash.
- HTC denies designing phones for third parties.

Analysis by iFixit has revealed that the Trump T1 Phone is an almost identical counterpart to the HTC U24 Pro. CT scans and full teardowns confirmed the functional equivalence between the two devices.
While largely the same, minor modifications were observed, such as a repositioned flash and a slightly altered speaker grille. The chipset, though identical in specifications, sourced from different manufacturers for each phone. The Trump phone features a marginally larger battery, manufactured in the Philippines, supporting slower 30W charging.
These findings align with previous observations of shared chassis design, specifications, and port placements. HTC has stated that it does not design or manufacture phones for third parties, adding complexity to the manufacturing origins of the U24 Pro and, by extension, the Trump phone. The U24 Pro was manufactured in China.
