Triumph is gearing up to expand its Indian motorcycle lineup with the introduction of the Bonneville 400. This new neo-retro model has recently been sighted testing on Indian roads, indicating it is nearing production readiness.
When launched, the Triumph Bonneville 400 is set to directly compete with the popular Royal Enfield Classic 350. Spy shots reveal classic Bonneville design elements such as a teardrop fuel tank, a round LED headlamp, and a single-piece flat seat.
Reports suggest the motorcycle will utilize conventional suspension components, including telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. It is expected to be powered by the same 349cc liquid-cooled engine found in the Speed 400 and Scrambler models, producing 37 hp and 32 Nm of torque.
