Threads Live Chats Get Major Upgrades

Threads has rolled out significant upgrades to its Live Chats feature, enhancing its utility and reach. The platform now incorporates translation support, breaking down language barriers for a global audience. Additionally, hosts have gained new moderation tools, such as the ability to bring in up to three co-hosts to help manage conversations, and can now delete messages across the chat.

These improvements are in direct response to feedback from creators. The company also indicated that desktop support and pinned messages are in development, addressing further user requests. Since its launch, Live Chats have seen hundreds of daily hosted conversations with thousands of participants, reinforcing Threads' commitment to fostering real-time engagement.
